Disneyland!.....a much needed break.........
So I ended up having a colonoscopy and there was no
cancer Thank goodness! They did find an ulcer in my colon. It probably is from my
Nsaids (it’s like ibuprofen an anti-inflammatory) or the chemo. I missed my
apt. on Monday due to a dead battery and I got there late so I had to
reschedule. So I don’t know how he’s going to treat it until I meet with him. I
haven’t lost my hair yet as you can see from the pictures. Everyone is
surprised even the doctor. On our trip though it really started to shed so who
knows. My feet really swelled on the trip but the doctor said it was probably just
from the traveling. It was a much needed break for the whole family to forget about the chemo and being sick etc. I was right at the end of a cycle so the chemo doctor said that would be the best time to miss an appointment. It was so nice not feeling nauseated while we were gone! My sweet husband Mark pushed me in the wheel chair most of the time because of my foot being in a boot and me getting fatigued easily.
